Oh Daddy came home last night from a short trip but were we ever glad to see him.  I've been battling the flu this week so it was a rough rough time for him to be away.  Can't remember ever feeling that sick.  Last night we got into jammies after bathtime, went to Starbucks to get hot chocolates (they have kid versions-AWESOME) and then drove around looking at lights until it was time to get daddy at the airport.  Both kiddos were asleep by then.  Even though Jackson is faking it in the picture below!

Today we hung out with Daddy...and went to see Santa.  Buddy the Elf made his appearance and delivered 24 packages that the kids get to open each day.  The first one was a story about The Nativity...we'll have to see if that is the running theme.   We finished off the night at church.  We started our Advent traditions and lit our Advent wreath and are really kicking off the holiday.  Such a special time of year.  :)
