Couldn't be anything more typical about our days...but they are great nonetheless.  Without a doubt the best part of this Tuesday was the bookends of our day with prayer.  We've started a rythym of weekly prayer for St. Paul's.  Families commit to pray for a church for an hour.  Michael woke up early to run before that and we greeted the 6am hour with coffee and prayer.  It was such a great way to start the day.
Fast forward to work and the mundane and then home for family dinner followed by Advent prayer. We got a sitter tonight so that we could attend an Adoration event. Beautiful music and wonderful time to be silent, reflect and reflect on how the Lord is speaking to us. What a gift. We both felt completely blessed to have a day filled with so much prayer and the kids were excited to have a sitter they love and haven't had in awhile (Caroline). And Michael and I may have ended the night with Whitey's. Been a LONG time since I've had any of that.
