It was a pretty low key day today.  I had the day off (gift).  And besides a morning coffee with a friend I didn't have much going on.  So Auggie and I ran a few errands before picking up Asher from school.  Came home this afternoon and edited a bit and then when the kids got home tonight we decorated the tree.  That was sweet.  The kids get so excited to open up these ornaments year after year.  Just adorable. 

And then another meal with Advent prayer before Wyldlife tonight.  It's nice to get into a rhythm of family dinner.  I just feel like sometimes when I reflect back on the day it feels quite like a blur...will it always be this way?  I know it won't.  But I just pray to remember the sweet little moments from the day. 

Like...

Addie Rose coming back downstairs after she had already been tucked into bed.  Crawling into my arms during my meeting and just snuggling in for a little bit.

Watching Asher in my rear view mirror instinctively start to shake to a KLove song...and then looking at the twinkle in his eye as he observed the world around him. 

Seeing Jackson learn a hard lesson and being reminded of what a good kid he is, how much he wants to do well.

And Auggie-just melting into my chest with a huge smile.  Gah.  Love that little baby.  Love them ALL!!!!
