May 21 Months
Well I didn't get around to blogging at Addie's 20month...In fact I missed it. I told someone at the park she turned 19 months and then she asked when her birthday is...when I told her the date she correctly informed me that she is actually 20 months. Whew. Next month will be here before you know it!
Michael has been traveling A LOT this month. A LOT. I'm starting to get a little weary. Part of that is my own fault...I like to keep the schedule full while he is gone so keep my mind off it...then I'm just pretty shot at night. We've also picked up some major exercising routines which has been awesome...and given me energy. But it can also zap me too! By the time I get home I have no desire to tackle household duties...then again, who does? :)
The kids have been great. Well Jackson has been awesome. Addie has been up and down. Yesterday was a great day...today not so great. It's just a roller coaster with that girl. When I feel like we have made progress forward we take a few steps back. It's baby steps with this girl and definitely day by day.
Jacksons new obsession is his roller blades and finding a 'trick' bike which we found at a garage sale today (basically just a bigger one). He is pretty darn good and it. He rode 2 miles last week on the trail with us while we ran so we felt we needed to get him something bigger that would be easier to maneuver...he is doing fantastic with it. Not so excited about soccer, but very very enthusiastic about trick bikes, scooters and roller blades.
We got up early to go the airport on Tuesday and he asked me, "Mommy why is the sun following us?"
We always pray for ambulances when they go by...well the other day I saw one and said Jackson it's time to pray. He says, "I can't do it mom...I'm out of talking power. Will you pray?" Lol. So cute...
And then we drove by Eisenhower school parking lot where Michael often takes him to practice...he said, "Mom I was there and I just teared it there." Huh-oh it clicked...you mean you tore it up. So cute.
And Addie Rose. Oh where to start. She LOVES to eat. She's is increasing her vocabularly daily. Starting to say animal sounds...loves to point to body parts. LOVES to color. EVERYTHING. Still screams a lot...but has really really sweet moments. Had pink eye this week...poor thing. But would grab her medicine and try to put it in her eye. Didn't put up any kind of a fight. Her new favorite word is MIIIIINNNNNNEEEE....which we are trying to redirect to be please.
