Another Month

What a whirlwind it has been!  Florida, visitors, visitors and more visitors.  And what a blessing.  So great to see some old friends and reconnect.

And we have two growing little ones.  Jackson started spring soccer tonight. He loved it.  He was pretty pumped about being out there.  And he had a ton of fun these last few days hanging out with his buddies Sam and Elijah.  They went on a few 'manventures' which of course included sticks, mud, water, scooters and rocks (go figure-some things never chance).  :)  And Jackson has been continuing to grow into a little boy.  He really grew to understand more of the Easter celebration which was fun for us.  He is just becoming this really really sweet little boy.

  • We discovered that A Rose had an ongoing ear infection we were unaware of.  We think this was perhaps limiting her speech.  Makes sense.  Within a couple of weeks she went from saying four-five words to a TON.  She can't quite pronounce words perfectly but she is saying a lot more attempts at syllables and sounds.    Says "hi" A LOT.  And repeats 'love you' also.
  • Eye teeth seem to be coming in and of course she is a little grumpy with it.  This seems to be consistent with Addie Rose...trying to find the latest ailment because she is a little grumpy.  :)
  • Loves to hug, tackle and play with her brother.
  • Is starting to get a little more finicky about eating.
  • Is a little love.  She will just walk over and want you to hold her or give her a hug...and then she doesn't want to be put down.
  • Still has a raspy little laugh.
  • Still sleeps with teddy and paci.  (These are a MUST)
  • Goes down to sleep SO well.  People are always amazed.  Give her those two items and say, "Cover you"...and falls to the pillow and snuggles in.  Amazing.
  • Is loving getting outside these warmer days.  Her favorite spot in our yard is the pebble (sand) box.  This girls gets dirty.
  • And she is starting to climb.  I think being with Madeline for a couple of days might have contributed to this.  I'll turn my back and find her on tope of the table!
  • Her new do is definitely pig tails.  Although she isn't the biggest fan of me putting them in her hair.  :)
  • When she gets really happy she has a very funny little run...kicks her feet all around.  So cute!
