17 months
WOW! Almost a year and a half. Here we go again. Another month. This girl is keeping us on our toes. She is beautiful, fun and loving but also has a bit of emotional struggle in her at the moment. I'm doing my best not to just pick her up when she cries (which is pretty hard) but she will stand at my feet and sob, literally, big alligator tears. I may have created a bit of a monster! Lol.
Addie Rose keeps life interesting that is for sure! And she is also a total sweetheart. Cuddles in, loves to give kisses and hugs and generally is happy as long as you are giving her attention. Her world is in order when she is at the center of it. And I do believe this is a bit of the age that she is in.
Overall she is a sweet, fun-loving, energetic girl. She loves to dance and clap to music. She still is limited on spoken words but has a lot of sign language. She very clearly says Mom (usually in a screaming voice), dadda, Jackson, night-night, and Cooper. She still loves Jackson although she gives him a run for his money these days. She prays with us when we pray which is the cutest thing ever. She is napping about 3 hours a day and sleeps from about 7pm-7am. (Nice :) )
Having a little girl is priceless. I feel really lucky that we get to experience both genders. I remember telling a mom once who had two girls how much I ached for a little girl to just want to snuggle. Well, be careful what you wish for! I got that and then some. :) She is filled with emotion and energy and we couldn't imagine our life without her. Happy 17 months little Miss Addie Rose. :)
I literally captured her rolling her eyes. No joke. This was part of it. |
