10 Months

Little Miss.  10 months old.  Today, as she sat in the bouncy seat, she could have looked 2 years old.  This is one big little girl-and yet I still can't believe that she is already ten months.

It has been a bit of a whirlwind this past month in our family-but one thing has been constant...these two little kiddos and the fact that they have stolen my heart.  I've had such beautiful moments with them these weeks, moments of them actually wanting to rest their head on my shoulder and I can't even begin to explain how precious it is.

Here are a few things that Addie Rose is up to these days:

• Crawling EVERYWHERE.  This girl is a speedy one.
• Standing up/pulling herself up on everything, has even stood on her own for split seconds at a time.  :)
• Eating EVERYTHING in sight.  Seriously.  She will eat anything you put before her.  Cheese, crackers, blueberries, dirt (yep a huge clump of dirt yesterday), rocks, etc. etc.  
• Someone at camp nailed it-she has a very low raspy voice.  Makes me wonder what her voice will sound like when she is older.  It's very distinct-Michael calls it her James Brown impression.
• Loves the water.
• Does "So Big"
• Waves
• Gives kisses (my personal favorite)
• She is determined, knows what she wants.  I thought we had just one like that-turns out it's a Havercamp trait.  :)
• Someone at camp observed that you could park her in the corner in her high chair for hours and she would be perfectly content just watching everyone.  So true.  
• Naps twice a day.  One in the morning and one in the afternoon.  Wakes up once through the night and typically sleeps at least 7pm-7am.  Good girl.  :)
• She is one of the few people I know who has a flat smile...meaning that when she smiles the top lip stays straight.  It's a little Addieism and I love it.  
• Still gets the biggest kick out of her brother.  They definitely have a special bond.  
• Is just pure joy.  Seriously.  She's ticklish on her toes, smiles when you look at her, and her body shakes when she sees you coming.  Love it.  Love this age.
