30 Days of Thanksgiving: Day 3

So it seems as though there is no more appropriate thing to be thankful for today than for the Edgewood Community.  We just finished the Heritage Dinner celebration at Edgewood.  It was our first official night out since we have had Addie and it was possible because of two Edgewood students who babysat.  The night was so inspiring and such a reminder of the incredible community we experience at that place.

It's hard to believe that I've been there for two years and what has happened in that amount of time but what is clear is that Michael and I have found an extended family in that place and that we both have experienced the joy and fruitfulness of the community there.  We are so blessed not only by our positions, but by the people we encounter on faculty and staff and by the students who enrich our lives.  What a blessed life we have to have jobs that are so fulfilling.  It really is incredible and something that we try not to take for granted.
