Waiting

"Love is never tired of waiting."1 Corinthians 13:4

I was bumming around on the computer this morning, playing with our blog and wrapping my heart about not having this little girl yet when I came upon this Scripture passage.  How appropriate...and I haven't even reached my due date yet.  Seriously I don't know how people who go two or three weeks past their due date get through it.  Patience is definitely a virtue that is acquired by the test of time.  All in all I'm surviving but just so anxious to meet our new little addition-praying for the strength to get through the 'waiting game.'

In the meanwhile Jackson keeps us going.  He is fully potty trained and has switched to standing up and going which really helps if we are at the park or somewhere we don't have access to a potty.  I can't believe how easy it was to be honest-clearly he just needed to be ready and not have us force him.

He also is a little sassy.  Go figure.  :)  If I tell him something he doesn't want to hear he says something like, "You say no mom but I say yes."  Ahh-it's starting.

I got a hair cut this week and we were driving in the car yesterday.  Jackson says, "Mom-your hair is different."  I said, "Yes it is-thanks for noticing." (Good eye little man-that will serve you well) But then he follows it up with, "Mom-it's crazy hair."  Lol-I guess he didn't approve of the new do!!!

It's been a great week.  We have tried to stay busy, mostly to keep our lives functioning as normal and not focus on the upcoming events.  At this point we have an induction date set for a week from today, Sept 4th.  So unless she comes early, she will have a birthday a day later than her big brother-we'll never be able to forget that!!

We are currently starting our Sunday off wonderfully-hanging out watching a little movie with J as he is dancing and swinging around the living room.  It's the little things-really.  He just makes our world so much more entertaining.
