Cars 2
Today was Jacksons first experience at the movie theatre. I think we were more excited then him! Anyways-we had seen Cars 2 advertised a long time ago and have had this date in mind for months. The anticipation was excruciating...okay for me not for him. But his first movie experience, seriously so much fun.
Needless to say we will probably wait awhile before we go again. First of all there were 20 minutes worth of previews, a little rough on a toddler who doesn't really get advertising. Second, the movie, while well done, was a little violent. There were lots of bombs, guns, etc. It was totally different than the chill race car style of the first Cars. And by the middle of the movie Jackson got a little restless. Luckily I had thought enough to bring snacks. Veggie sticks and fruit snacks got us through. All in all he made it through but I think we can hold off on another movie experience for awhile!
And afterwards as we were walking out of the show Jackson said, "That's a good one." Enough said from his perspective I gues.
