The boys are back...
Well both of the boys are home and life has gotten back to normal at the Havercamp household! It was SO great to pick Michael up from the airport...Jackson ran right by him and then when Michael said his name he continued to run back and screamed "Daddy" right into his arms. It was a sweet homecoming.
We've been enjoying what we can of the weather this week. On Mother's Day Jackson and I headed to the zoo as we waited for Michael to get in from the airport. It was BEAUTIFUL!!! Finally we had some spring like weather. We made a trip to the park, a trip through the dog park and have had numerous days outside playing with his 'big tractors.'
Today Jackson put on his John Deere hat and declared, "I'm a farmer." Yah know-at this rate I would not be surprised if that is what he ends up doing. We have also been hitting the potty training hard..needless to say it hasn't been too successful. He has definitely gone a few times but not sure he is wanting to at this point. All in his time I guess...
All in all having the boys back has been wonderful. We have just had some really good family time and enjoyed the funny things that Jackson says and does at this point. He's still having his dreams, today after his nap he told me about a big bear that was riding on a blue rainbow and asking to give him a hug. This kid has one vivid imagination! He keeps us on our toes and keeps our house a home. And his little sister is growing! I feel like I'm getting bigger and bigger-thus having a hard time getting down on the floor to play with Jackson and I know that will just continue. Luckily I have a gracious husband who is helping out a lot! We can't believe she'll be here in a couple of months and I'm slowing starting to get her room ready. Hopefully we'll get it all done by the time she arrives. :)
