Spring

Starting the fall off the park play set...
Working on his baseball arm.
Watching airplanes
Loving it when dad pops wheelies!!
The smile says it all!!!
I think it's finally here!!!! And I couldn't be happier. What a long, drawn out winter this has been. Even though not every day sees sunshine, the average temperature is above 40, people are fertilizing their lawns, kids are outside and it just FEELS like warmth is continuing to come.

And as always its been a busy couple of weeks in the Havercamp household-fun and busy! Jackson has totally LOVED the warm weather and we have been enjoying him. We took a trip to Chicago for our friend Diane's 50th birthday party-it was a quick trip but so fun to celebrate with her.
  • Ricardo, a student/friend of ours, bought us tickets to the Matt Wertz and Ben Rector concert...it was a fun night and relaxing night-Jackson got to stay with the Jacksons and of course couldn't have been happier.  And we got to have Gemelos with the Allens...what a great night :)
  • Jackson is starting to love Martin Sexton and we couldn't be happier. He has certain tunes he ask for over and over again (Failure, Thinking about You). Makes for proud parents. :)
  • Took him to the mall to play in the play area. Yep-Jackson is the kid running up to all the other kids and screaming "Hi" to their face. Extrovert perhaps?
  • Loves things that are "big" and "strong". Has this really funny voice he does when he describes such things also.
  • Gave us a big scare today when he fell from the highest point on the play structure at the park. It's always been a fear of ours but you stand close and watch...and somehow he was getting ready to go down the slide and tumbled side first straight to the ground. Wow do moments like that make your heart skip a beat. Luckily this little man has one heck of a guardian angel-if he is anything like his father-he is gonna need it. Adventure is at the heart of these Havercamp boys.

  1. Oh Jackson, what stories we will have to tell of your survival...seems like you have unlimited lives like your dad perhaps? :)
