Spelling

This is random but if I don't write it down somewhere I won't forget!

In the doctor's office last week Jackson showed me he knew how to spell his name. I was a little surprised! He has been getting his letters for quite awhile now...but I wrote his name on the chalkboard and asked him what it said. "Jackson," he responds. Okay-great! Now lets spell it...I point to each letter and he spells it (mixing up only one). He just never ceases to surprise me.

Then on Tuesday night Michael was watching him and had colored/drawn on a sheet of paper with him. He had written down words like Mommy, Daddy, Jackson, Cooper, and Veda...well on Wednesday when I was home I asked him to show me what he had drawn and what Michael had written. I asked him to tell me what the word was...and he nailed ALL of them. I'm sure he just had them memorized...but I want to mark this down so that someday when he is unmotivated in school I can remind him of how inspiring he was at such a young age. ;)
