Timberwolf!!!
Well since we have officially been at Timberwolf Lake Young Life camp for two of our four weeks I figured it was time to send out an update. The time here has been absolutely magical. We have not felt so relaxed in a very long time. Timberwolf is beautiful and Jackson is having an absolute blast. Michael's role is Summer Staff Coordinator which means he works with and oversees the college students-which has been as awesome position for him.
Michael and I had our first 'date' night off property last night and it was so awesome. We went to this beautiful little town called Traverse City which is on the lake, ate at Bubba's, hit some shops and then drove to Empire, Michigan to watch the sunset. It was amazing! Here is a pic:
Jackson has had some awesome experiences already. He has ridden the waverunner, played in the sprinkler system, ridden on the mini-tractors and spent some time in the lake and playing in the sand. There isn't a day that goes by that we don't thank God for the blessing and beauty of this place.
Jackson's vocabulary has grown so much. He has cards that he practices with pictures on them and can recognize all the pictures. He LOVES playing with trucks, cars and tractors still. (Very typical boy in that sense).
Summer Staff Nick taking Jackson on the waverunner.
His new favorite word is waverunner-we have to thank Jesus at night for waverunners.
He's a total HAM. All the time.
Marshmallow Man.
We got to try the ropes course! It was sweet. :)

- He knows and can identify the letters W, B, T, S, O & W
- Does the Pati-O move with the campers. (Puts his hands above his head in O style.
- LOVES the water. Went for a walk on the beach the other day and he ended up in the water to his neck, wouldn't have stopped if it wasn't for daddy.
- Has an obsession with his toy motorcycle that his cousin Kadin gave him (he calls it his "wookeker").
- Spends the majority of days outside playing.
- Has an extensive vocabulary and is very good at identifying people's names.
- Still knows what he wants all the time, and is not very good at letting go of things he cannot have. :)
